School Starts

Tuesday, February 28th, 2006

Its the end of the half term, and school starts again for me within the next hour. This means I’ll have less time to work on/update the site during the week, but I’ll try and update when I can.

As for school, I hope I didn’t forget about any coursework I was supposed to start/finish… I’ll try adding some extras after school today. Something to look forward to I suppose.

Extras section

Monday, February 27th, 2006

My first add of interesting stuff to the site. The Extras page will feature tutorials for webmasters such as HTML, CSS, and PHP. As well as graphics tutorials with Paint Shop Pro and Photoshop. There isn’t much on at the moment, but I will try to reguarly add to the list more any more.

You can check out the Extras page now, through the link on the sidebar. Please comment with any suggestions etc.

Fresh Start

Monday, February 27th, 2006

I decided to make a complete fresh start to my site, Everything has been deleted, apart from the Gallery, which I decided to keep since I only really released it recently.

I’m not going to bother importing my posts from my MSN Space on again either. So, if you really want to look or comment back on any of those posts, you’ll have to go to my MSN space, which is only available to people on my MSN Messenger, so if your not on, then sorry but you won’t be able to enter.

Anyway, since this is a new start, I’d like to say a few things first.

  • Visitors. I know that I don’t get much visitors to this site, and I don’t really expect to. But as most webmasters want, I am going to be trying to get more visitors to come, somehow. This means that I’ll be adding much more interesting stuff to my site at a later date, therefore not just being my personal blog.
  • Registration. I’ve left registrations on, so feel free to register to this site. At the moment, as a registered member, you will just be able to comment with more of a profile. This is most likely to change as I add to my site, as I will then let members post themselves etc.
  • Comments. At the moment you don’t have to register to post a comment, but I’d rather you would register and then comment. The main thing I want to sort out about commenting is the language and grammar, now I don’t think I’m being unreasonable by asking if you comment in full english, rather than the more used ‘internet grammar’ etc. If I find that I don’t like the use of language, or grammar in the comments posted, I will not allow them onto the site. Also, if you are not registered, your comment will have to be moderated by me before it is displayed on the site, to stop any spam comments, another reason to register I suppose.
  • Posting/Updating. I’ll try to post more and update the site more than I have done previously. Before I would either forget to post for a long time, or I wouldn’t bother posting because of the lack of visitors, but I’ll try and post more now.

Thats all I have to say at the moment, but I’ll be updating soon, and probably adding a few more bits-and-bobs. Thank you for visiting.
