Nevermind

Thursday, January 18th, 2007

Nevermind about all that FFXI stuff, I don’t have the time, motivation, or knowledge to do such to be perfectly honest. I’ll think of something to fit into this boring little webspace, and might just post it within the next few months or so..

No excuse..

Monday, December 18th, 2006

Christmas is coming up, and although I’ve been rather busy with various school related things, as well as playing Final Fantasy XI… too much, I haven’t really had the time to post anything on here.. So, here it is again along with all the other times I’ve said it, I’ll try to post some more stuff over the Christmas holiday. I’ll try get posts up about some games, like I said in my previous post, I’d like to do something for Phantasy Star Universe.

I’m also thinking on making a ‘beginners’ guide on some stuff for Final Fantasy XI, which I may put on the few month old, never started, never finished FFXI subdomain of mine, but then again, I might just put it as an extra on this blog to keep everything together. I’ll update on this later when I get more of an idea if I’ll have time to do something for this. I’ll be doing some revising over the holidays for my exams that start on the first week I get back, aswell as trying to enjoy some of the holiday of course, but I’d like to add a few things onto here. I’ll try post an update on what I think I can do either tomorrow, or Wednesday, when I break up for the holiday.

In due time..

Sorry about the lack of updates, I really have nothing to write about.. That, and all my coursework is all coming to be due in at the same time, so I’m having some trouble in getting it all done for the deadlines. Other than that, I’ll try find something interesting to post about, maybe the Battlefield 2142 Demo. I’ll try to post something within the next few days, if anything interesting comes up.

Also, since half term is coming up for me (two weeks this year, yay!) I’m planning on making a more colourful layout, and some more content since as you’ve probably noticed, the recent layouts have been rather simply and minimalistic, and the content is still rather dry and boring. I’m working on it!

The Questioner

Saturday, September 16th, 2006

I came across The Quick & Painless ENNEAGRAM Test” and decided to give it a go. It says that “ With only TWO questions it can tell you who you are!” And its scarily accurate too. Anyway, here are my results:

“The Questioner”

“You chose CY - your Enneagram type is SIX.”

Questioners are responsible, trustworthy, and value loyalty to family, friends, groups, and causes. Their personalities range broadly from reserved and timid to outspoken and confrontative.

How to Get Along with Me

  • Be direct and clear.
  • Listen to me carefully.
  • Don’t judge me for my anxiety.
  • Work things through with me.
  • Reassure me that everything is OK between us.
  • Laugh and make jokes with me.
  • Gently push me toward new experiences.
  • Try not to overreact to my overreacting.

What I Like About Being a Six

  • being committed and faithful to family and friends
  • being responsible and hardworking
  • being compassionate toward others
  • having intellect and wit
  • being a nonconformist
  • confronting danger bravely
  • being direct and assertive

What’s Hard About Being a Six

  • the constant push and pull involved in trying to make up my mind
  • procrastinating because of fear of failure; having little confidence in myself
  • fearing being abandoned or taken advantage of
  • exhausting myself by worrying and scanning for danger
  • wishing I had a rule book at work so I could do everything right
  • being too critical of myself when I haven’t lived up to my expectations

Sixes as Children Often

  • are friendly, likable, and dependable, and/or sarcastic, bossy, and stubborn
  • are anxious and hypervigilant; anticipate danger
  • form a team of “us against them” with a best friend or parent
  • look to groups or authorities to protect them and/or question authority and rebel
  • are neglected or abused, come from unpredictable or alcoholic families, and/or take on the fearfulness of an overly anxious parent

Sixes as Parents

  • are often loving, nurturing, and have a strong sense of duty
  • are sometimes reluctant to give their children independence
  • worry more than most that their children will get hurt
  • sometimes have trouble saying no and setting boundaries

I guess that the people who know me will find it a little hard putting these result towards me, but thats only because I don’t really reveal myself a lot, to anyone. I can tell you that these results, from me reading them, are pretty accurate.
