VOICES
Got my copy of the ‘VOICES - music from Final Fantasy’ DVD today. Only watched it on my computer so far, but it looks well worth it. With 16 well played tracks of classic Final Fantasy tunes, and performances from RIKKI (”Suteki da ne” [FFX]), Angela Aki (”Eyes on Me” [FFVIII] and “Kiss me Good-Bye” [FFXII]), Emiko Shiratori (”Melodies of Life” [FFIX]), and Izumi Masuda (”Distant Worlds” [FFXI]). There is also an small acapella performance by the Mogleys, which is rather shocking at first, but is very funny. And to finish it all off, The Black Mages perform an awesome Advent Children version of One-Winged Angel from FFVII, twice!

If you are a Final Fantasy music fan, then I’d reccommend grabbing this DVD. The tracks played are a great selection of Final Fantasy tunes, and the performances from the singers, and Angela Aki’s version of “Eyes on Me” (originally sung by Faye Wong) are a must have. I picked up mine from Amazon Japan, but there seem to be plenty of sites that sell and import it around the world.
